Welcome to The Light Cinemas. A new outlook on how the cinema experience should be enjoyed.

We are proud to bring The Light Cinemas experience to New Brighton and intend to create not just a cinema, but a social hub for the whole community. We welcome your comments either via this site or on our Facebook page so we can continue to improve your cinema. 

New Brighton

The Light Cinema, New Brighton is an 8 screen cinema with state of the art digital picture and sound auditorium. All our seats are luxurious extra width as standard compared to most multiplexes. 

Facilities & features

  • Upon entering the cinema you will be welcomed into our cafĂ© bar where you can have a drink before the film begins. As all our screens are licenced you are free to take your refreshments into the screen to enjoy with your movie.
  • Wheelchair spaces are available in all screens and we provide IR headsets for the hard of hearing so they may fully enjoy the film of their choice.
  • Private screenings and corporate bookings are easily organised, just contact us via one of the methods on the contact us link.
  • There is ample free parking on site at Marine Point. This can be found by following the signs for Morrisons.
